The Great Waterway Loop of Wielkopolska
"Greater Poland's Great Loop" is one of the most popular water tourist routes in Poland. The "Greater Poland's Great Loop" route covering a total of 690 km includes the Warta river on the section of Konin - Santok (338.5 km), the Noteć section (48.8 km) leading to the mouth of the Drava River. Then it goes through 140 km and 16 locks, up to the Górno - Notecki Canal (25 km), followed by Noteć directly to the Warta - Gopło Canal (32 km). The "Great Loop of Greater Poland" is available for units with a width of up to 4 m, length up to 20 m and what is important with a draft not more than 60 cm. Larger vessels, on the other hand, can easily cross the section both on the lower Warta and Noteć as well as on the Warta - Gopło section. We recommend slipping a boat at the marina in Ląd or in Pyzdry, or at the marinas on the lakes between the Warta and the Gopło, eg. in Ślesin.
