Particularly favorable conditions for fishing occur on the lakes: Mikorzyn-Wąsosze, Patnów and Licheń. Due to its location (near the heat and power plants discharging hot water through the duct network, the lakes, which raises its temperature by about 3 degrees Celsius), are attractive for anglers all year round. The local waters are rich in various species of freshwater fish. It is impossible to list them all: bream, roach, crucian carp, pike, perch, eel, catfish, bleak, tench, pike are just some of them. Warm lakes are not the only advantage of this area. It is also Warta in many half-wild places, sheltered by a curtain of thickets, meandering with wide valleys, lost in the blooming oxbow lakes, accelerating in the gorges, whirling in the mouths of its tributaries - it is a river with many faces. In Warta, breams, sexes, rudds, barbs, certa and chub meet. In the oxbow lakes there can be quite a lot of crucian carp, carp and even catfish. Pike is the fastest attacker in river spurs and bends.
