Church St. James the Apostle in Golina
ul. Wolności 2 A
62-590 GolinaThis inconspicuous wooden church stands in Golina from the second half of the 18th century, being not only the most valuable monument of this town, but also one of the many religious monuments in Greater Poland. The central altar of the church is occupied by the picture "Crucifixion" from 1600. Part of the historic equipment from the old church now serves in a new temple (including a wooden passion, rebuilt organs, monstrance from the late seventeenth century or the image of Our Lady of the Scapular). The temple was going to the Greater Poland Ethnographic Park in Lednica, which was saved by the inhabitants of Golina.
